Best known for its exclusive ski resort, the city of Aspen has a remarkable cultural atmosphere for a town of its size, including the presence of the Aspen Art Museum designed by Shigeru Ban. This summer, Aspen hosts the second in-person edition of Intersect Aspen, a fair featuring modern and contemporary art from 31 art galleries, including such well-known galleries as Galerie Gmurzynska (Zurich and New York) and Perrotin (Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo).

Becca Hoffman, Managing Director of Intersect Art and Design says, “There’s nothing like Aspen, especially in the summertime. On the heels of our successful inaugural 2021 Aspen Fair, we’re delighted to return for our next edition, bringing together a dynamic mix of galleries, cultural partners, curators, artists, and collectors. The response we’ve received from the local and regional community, as well as the national and global art world, has been resounding. We are very much looking forward to gathering together this summer in the mountains.”

Tim von Gal, CEO of Intersect Art and Design adds, “We look forward to presenting Intersect Aspen again this summer, and welcome the return of many exhibitors, artists, partners, and patrons who made our pop-up event such a success last year. We can’t wait to get back to the mountains.”

Paul Laster, Curatorial Advisor for Intersect Art and Design, says, “In its second year in-person, Intersect Aspen, with its incredibly art-savvy audience of collectors and art enthusiasts, offers a high-level yet intimately scaled hub for new discoveries. Exhibitors are excited to return, and to showcase art and artists they are bringing specifically for this uniquely situated Fair.”
