Victoria Reynolds (born 1962) lives and works in Los Angeles. Her works -according to the gallery- “refers to the Venetian art of painting flesh, Dutch vanitas, kitchen and butcher stall scenes, divine sacrifice, and society’s use and sacrifice of animals“.
Rachell Sumpter (born 1972), is a Californian artist who borrows images of religious and political tradition related to the North Pacific culture.
Corey Arnold (born 1976) was born in California and studied at the Northern Arizona University and at the Academy of Arts of the University of San Francisco. Photographer and commercial fisherman, “he gets advantage of Alaska’s fishing season and of Norwegian crab fishing ships to create his oeuvre“.
The works of Jacob Magraw-Mickelson (born 1982) have illustrated numerous articles for The New York Times among other publications. He often combines his works with Rachell Sumpter (see above.)
Brendan Monroe (born 1982) was born in California but lives and works in Stockholm. The gallery explains that the artist “considers himself a maker of things with the necessity to construct and produce“.
Charlie Roberts (born 1983) was born in Kansas but lives and works in Asker, Norway. He uses a figurative language with high visual impact to depict obsessively a variety of human specimens.
Devin Troy Strother (born 1986) lives and works in Los Angeles. According to the gallery, “his work is highly marked by his Afro-American condition, finding his main source of inspiration in popular culture“.
