In an exciting new development, Art Ireland is this year giving eight emerging Irish artists an invaluable opportunity to showcase their work at Fresh Art, an innovative project that supports new talent by providing them with a platform to promote and exhibit their works to the thousands of visitors to the fair.

“After almost a decade of experience working with artists and galleries, we recognise that one of the greatest challenges facing emerging artists is to meet the costs associated with achieving exposure for their work,” says Art Ireland founder and organiser Maria McMenamin. “We are therefore delighted to help this exciting group of recently graduated artists to overcome this obstacle by sponsoring their spaces at Art Ireland.”

The artists taking part in Fresh Art work in a diverse range of media from embroidered canvases to painted woodblocks, depicting an eclectic mix of subjects from lonely seascapes to childhood memories. Visitors will be inspired by the originality and energy of the works on view. Fresh Art is also a timely opportunity for investors to acquire works at irresistibly affordable prices early in the careers of the exhibiting artists. Fresh Art is jointly sponsored by Art Ireland and Salad Creations, the worldwide franchise that recently opened its first Irish restaurant in Forbes Street, Dublin, where the artists’ works are currently being previewed.

Offering unrivalled variety and choice, Art Ireland is the country’s biggest visual arts event of the year. With over 175 galleries and independent artists taking part, it’s an ideal opportunity for occasional collectors and dedicated connoisseurs alike to view thousands of works by dozens of exhibitors under a single roof.

The sheer scale and diversity of Art Ireland means that no other event can offer such a high degree of choice. As a result visitors can look forward to viewing an enormous range of paintings, prints, sculptures, photographs and other contemporary works in a huge variety of subjects and styles
