#ArcoColombia in Madrid
Alongside participation by art galleries at ARCOmadrid, the guest country has prepared an ambitious programme of exhibitions and events aimed at presenting a broad representation of Colombian contemporary art.

New Museums
At ARCOmadrid 2015 two new museums are being presented: the Centre Pompidou Malaga and the University of Navarre Museum.

Centre Pompidou Malaga
The name Pompidou immediately brings to mind modern and contemporary art. Its flagship, located in Paris, is among the ten most-visited museums in the world. It is renowned for both its exception artistic value as well as its exclusivity, in that it has never left French borders. Until now, that is. After the original Parisian centre and the one located in Metz, in the French province of Lorraine, two years ago the Pompidou decided to establish a third centre, this time outside France, and it had its sights set on Malaga. To tell the truth, it was the Malaga city council that shared the idea with the French embassy during a Match Against Poverty held at La Rosaleda in 2008.

University of Navarre Museum
On 22 January, Pamplona celebrated the opening of its new art centre. It has been designed with more than just exhibitions in mind. It will host interdisciplinary research, artist patronage, training, the application of teaching activity to museum practice and community service.
